Bahria Town vs DHA Lahore: Which Fits Your Budget?
Usman Tariq · Bahria & Twin Cities Consultant · 8 min read · 5 March 2026
A practical comparison of entry prices, amenities, and resale liquidity for families choosing between Bahria's 12–18 lakh/marla market and DHA's premium Defence pricing.
Choosing between Bahria Town Lahore and DHA is less about which is "better" and more about budget and lifestyle. Bahria's land rates of roughly PKR 12–18 lakh per marla open gated living — golf, theme park, malls — at a fraction of Phase 5–6 entry costs.
DHA commands higher absolute prices and typically stronger resale liquidity among traditional Lahore buyers. Construction quality and street planning are tightly regulated. Bahria appeals to overseas Pakistanis who value turnkey amenities and flexible historical payment culture.
A useful rule of thumb for 2026: if your all-in budget for a 10 Marla finished house is under PKR 3.5 Crore, Bahria and Lake City deserve first look. Above PKR 5 Crore with a preference for Defence branding, focus on Phase 6–8.
